Grammy Winners 'Juanes' in Brussels

For a second time in Brussels, Colombian musicians ''Juanes" will perform on 10 March 2006 at Forest National... as part of their Mi Sangre Tour 2005-2006. Juanes' musical producer is Argentinean Gustavo Santaolalla who was selected by Time Magazine as one of the most 25 influential hispanics in the U.S. In 2003 Juanes won 9 Latin Grammy Awards with their album "Un dia normal" (A normal day) and in 2005 they won 3 Latin Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song for 'Nada Valgo sin tu Amor'. Latin music/parties lovers...be ready for a fantastic party weekend!! Pllenty of choices for this weekend. Let's just take a look at them. On Friday, at Fiestabar we'll have the Ritmo de la Noche Party with Spanish decoration, a lot of tapas and Latino show. On Saturday, these are the options: Radio Alma organizes the "Move the Radio 3" Party from 23:00 at Barrio Cafe (Place de la Chapelle) to collect fonds to the radio (you can get tickets here), ASBRU (Asturianos en Bruselas) will have its party at La Tentation with the possibility to win 2 tickets to Asturias, and for those ones who want to escape the Brussels party scene, La Fiesta Cubana in Vilvoorde will include dinner, salsa courses and live performances of BEL/CUBA salsa band 'Doble Impacto'and salsa dj Emilio. It's hard not to be engulfed by so well crafted marketing campaings sometimes...and in this case may be even more difficult...I'm talking about a movie that has been called by Rolling Stone "a killer funny documentary" that "produces more laughs than any hundred jokes you ever heard". Well, we'll be able to judge from ourselves whether "The Aristocrats" is really such a a funny treat. Opens nation-wide in cinemas from 14th December.
