Fete de la Musique

The annual summer Fête de la Musique takes over the heart of Brussels (and key towns in Wallonie) with pop, jazz, brass bands, hip-hop, salsa, chanson Française, funk, classical and contemporary concerts throughout the city. Name any music genre you can think of, and it will be played somewhere. The opening evening concerts take place (of course) on the Grand Place in Brussels and on the Grand Place in Mons.On the following days, music spreads into other key venues in Brussels and its five central communes (including Les Marolles and Ixelles) and in Wallonie (including Liege, Hannut, Chaudfontaine and Thimistere-Clermont).
