Polé Polé - Swahili for "Take it easy" - is each year synonym for several festivals during the summer : the "oldest" one always announces the start of the Summervacation in the beginning of July. The Polé Polé Festival is always on of the most colourful decorated festivals in Belgium and is the only floating festival in Europe, brings the best world music to Ghent, with many international artists playing reggae, salsa, bachata, samba, soul, funk and disco.More than 40 live bands like Jamaica All Stars (Jamaica) La Sonora Carruseles (Colombia)Brooklyn Funk Essentials (US) New York Ska Jazz Ensemble (US) Babylon Circus (Fr)Think of One (B).
